Make a gift for yourself, your grandmother, your friend or your boyfriend and sign up for a coffee roasting course. In the practical and theoretical part, we will show you how to recognize defects in green beans and how we find and decide which coffee will be on our shelves. From contact with importers, to cuppings and the final selection of beans.

 

We will make a cupping of coffees together, divided by: roasting date - there will be three cups: one with coffee roasted 3 months ago, the second with coffee roasted a week ago and the last one with coffee roasted a few minutes earlier. We will check what the differences are and then we will come to common conclusions about why time plays such an important role in the taste of coffee.

 

We will start with a small piece of equipment, i.e. IKAWA, on which you will roast your first beans, and then move on to something a little larger, i.e. our apple of the eye: Stronghold S7 Pro. This year's Polish Coffee Roasting Championships were held on this very stove. We will let you take over and after a day spent together, you will come back with a package of hand-roasted grain, a lot of knowledge and the willingness to start working in a roastery (or maybe even start your own?).
